Bridgewater Pet Boarding Services
Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital is staffed with a loving and passionate group of individuals dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for your pet when you are away. We offer regular overnight boarding as well as medical boarding for your furry friend. Leaving your pet at a boarding kennel can be a scary experience so we encourage you to take a tour of our facility to see where your pooch or kitty is going to stay and meet our wonderful, caring staff. Tours are gladly given to all our current and prospective clients. If you would like to schedule a tour, please call (908) 704-6700.
When traveling for business or taking your family on vacation, there is enough stress without having to worry about who is going to take care of your beloved animal companion. This is especially true if your pet has a chronic or acute medical condition that requires a caregiver with veterinary knowledge and experience.
We provide your pet with safe and comfortable boarding as well as any necessary medical care. When you bring your pet in for boarding he/she will be personally admitted to the boarding facility by one of our experienced team members.
Our dedicated staff exercises your pet regularly. Dogs are walked four times a day and each pet also receives daily play time.
Your pet’s special health needs, such as medicine administration, food preparation, and exercise will all be reviewed with you. You are encouraged to bring your own food if your pet is on a special diet and any medications in their original container.
Toys and personal items (including even an owner’s t-shirt) are welcome to help make your pet as comfortable as possible.
Meet and Greet
So that we can ensure that each pet’s stay with us is successful, we invite pet owners to schedule a “Meet and Greet” with us two to seven days in advance of their pet’s boarding stay. This visit will grant us an opportunity to meet you and your pet and help us understand all that we can do to make your pet’s stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Prior to the Meet and Greet, please fax your pet’s vaccination records to us so that we can ensure that all the necessary requirements for boarding are complete prior to his/her stay.
In order to ensure the protection of your pet and others, the following vaccinations are required:
Our canine guests need to be current with Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP and a 4DX test. Our feline guests are required to be current with FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies. A history of two negative Felv/FIV tests is required for outdoor cats.
Both dogs and cats should have had a recent negative fecal parasite check.
For Dogs: $49.00/night
For Cats: $36.00/night
For our pet guests who require medical boarding supervision and care, prices are individualized depending upon size and medical condition of the pet.
