“I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a child. However, the defining moment came when I was in college and a teacher’s assistant gave a speech to my class about trying to strive for your biggest goals because you don’t want to look back and regret not trying. I knew at that moment the direction I would be taking.”
A native of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Lynn Arbach is an Associate Veterinarian who has been practicing with Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital since 1997. Dr. Arbach attended Old Dominion University for her undergraduate studies where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1987. After a few years working at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio, as a laboratory technician in the National Toxicology Program, she entered Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1992, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her area of special professional interest is internal medicine, specifically urology and endocrinology.
She is certified in Fear Free Practice techniques and is very active in the community to take the “Pet” out of “Pet-rified”. She is also a member of the Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Arbach and her husband Bill, a Business Consultant, have two children, Matthew and Emily. The family also provides a home for a dog named Daisy, and two cats named Mr. Rose and Link. All of their pets are rescues. Dr. Arbach’s interests include gardening, yoga, and reading.
